little jewels
after my group meeting, i was heading to the resource room and i was pleasantly surprised. there was a box. there was a box filled with books--and they were all free for the grabbing!
i picked up the Leo Toltstoy and another book not pictured here. the meditation book here is a jewel of a guide that i found while i was snooping around in my aunt's room. it's an Alcoholics Anonymous daily meditation guide. no one here is an alcoholic, ironically--but the meditation in the book is still very beneficial to ALL people who care to involve themselves in it. i think that any chronic obstacle in our lives can be made into an "X Anonymous" scenario: we can all live by the 12 Steps of Recovery and dedicate each individual day only to present progress. in other words, live for today and be your best in today while you trust your God to enlighten you as your life changes for the better.

Hehe, I'm going to look that up. Who knew an AA book would help anyone? I really think I need some meditation right now. Thank you so much, Love! <3
